I’m Kirsten Verlinden, a 23-year-old Animation student from Belgium, working under the creative alias Lumi Artifex.

I specialize in Character animation, illustration, and Brand design/business graphics and love exploring how visual storytelling can connect people and ideas.

My work spans a variety of creative fields, and I’m always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of style and purpose.

I've had the chance to gain feature film experience with studios like Walking The Dog in Brussels, as well as work on commercial projects for independent companies and firms. These experiences have taught me to balance creativity with professionalism, and whether it's a collaborative production or a solo commission, I aim to bring both energy and clarity to every project I touch.

If you're looking for someone who can translate your ideas into something bold, clean, and thoughtfully designed, I’m your person!

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me rolling dice in Dungeons & Dragons, leveling up my Magic: The Gathering deck, or volunteering with the Red Cross. I also appear at conventions under the Lumi Artifex name, where I sell original illustration merch and prints!

You can download my resume below or reach out via the contact form, I’d love to hear about your project, your ideas, or even just your DnD character. Let’s make something awesome together!  :)
